I had seen a similar room on the net longtime back and was very inspired with its mood and simple set-up...modeled in max, rendered with vray and post-work in photoshop.

Pharos Lighthouse, Alexandria

This is my work for the Finding Shore competition on vizdepot.com. I chose the Pharos Lighthouse, Alexandria for my entry.

My aim here was to try create an artistic piece of work that captures the spirit of the lighthouse and give a historic feel to it. This, being one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, I wanted my final image to depict that epic quality of the structure.
